Hey, my name is Mhan Hein Khant, but most people know me as John.
I recently graduated from SUNY Oswego with a Bachelor of Information Science and am currently working in the Inpatient Pharmacy at Albany Medical Center while pursuing certifications in both IT and healthcare. My interests include IT support, systems administration, databases, process improvement, and using technology to solve real-world problems.
Throughout college and beyond, I’ve worked on web applications, database systems, and collaborative technology projects while developing strong communication, troubleshooting, and leadership skills through customer-facing and team-oriented roles.
I’m always looking for opportunities to learn, improve, and take on new challenges. Feel free to explore my projects, certifications, resume, and LinkedIn to learn more about my work and professional journey.
Beyond work, I’m someone who finds joy in creative pursuits and quiet moments.
I started seriously learning piano on my own during college, mostly late at night after long days. It became a creative escape — something that helped me slow down, reflect, and stay grounded. I'm still learning, but the process has become part of who I am.
I’m drawn to visual storytelling. Whether it's editing short films, filming solo adventures, or just experimenting with light and framing, videography lets me explore emotion and narrative in ways that words sometimes can't.
When I hike solo, it's a space to reflect, clear my thoughts, and slow down. It gives me quiet focus I rarely find elsewhere. But I also love hitting the trail with friends — swapping stories, sharing silence, or just enjoying the steady rhythm of walking together. Whether I’m by myself or with company, hiking grounds me and often leaves me with a clearer mind and a lighter heart.
